Recently, many biopics are being made in Tollywood and have seen success. With the success of these movies, more and more movies are being made in this genre. The list of the movies and the movies yet to be released are:
1) MAHANATI:
This movie was a visual wonder not only to the fans of Savitri garu, but also the younger generations. Keerthy Suresh gave life to the movie with her exceptional performance. This movie is also one of the highest grosser of 2018.
2) NTR-KATHANAYAKUDU:
This movie, the biopic of legendary actor-politician, NTR, is set to hit the screens on 9th of January. Directed by Krish and Nandamuri Balakrishna as a producer as well as in lead role. Vidya Balan is playing the female lead and also the movie includes a good number of star cast including Rana, Nitya Menen etc.,
3) LAKSHMI’S NTR:
This movie is also a biopic on NTR, in the point of view of his wife, Laxmi. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the movie had faced a lot of heat even before the release because of the song ‘vennupotu‘.
4) UDYAMA SIMHAM:
This movie is based on the real-life story of TRS party founder and Telangana’s first CM KCR. If reports are to be believed, senior character artist Nasser will portray the role of KCR.
5) YATRA:
This biopic is about former chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh, Y Rajashekhar Reddy(YSR). Mammootty, the legendary Malayali actor is playing the role of YSR. The movie may be released on February 8th.
